MARION, Ohio (March 28,2004) – Marion Elks Lodge No. 32 is pleased to announce that Alexander Ault, Dustin J. Price and Nathan Ault have received a “Most Valuable Student” college scholarship through the Ohio Elks Association, funded through the Elks National Foundation. All three students of Tri-Rivers Career Center will be recognized and awarded their merit-based scholarships during a special Youth Day event to be held in conjunction with the summer meeting of the Ohio Elks in Columbus this August.The Elks Most Valuable Student Awards are $1,000 scholarships applied to accredited American schools, colleges or universities. Alexander Ault plans to attend Hocking College in Nelsonville, OH, while his twin brother Nathan Ault is making plans to attend Ohio Tech in Cleveland. Price will be attending University North Western in Lima, OH. Selection of the scholarship winners is based upon financial need, leadership and scholastic merit. 47 Ohio Elks awards were given this year.Dustin Price is the son of Paula and Jess Price of New Bloomington. Nathan and Alexander Ault are the sons of Delilah and Jeff Ault, who reside just outside of Galion. Through its many scholarship programs, the National and State Elks organizations award nearly $3.2 million a year in college scholarships. In so doing, the Elks are second only to the Federal government in the total amount annually awarded to college students in the U.S.
