Although pointing and clicking with the mouse accomplishes most of the navigation through Chicago Lodge Membership System, some keyboard usage is required when adding or editing member information. Below is a table of the keyboard references used in the manual:
Important Keyboard Keys and Combinations
[CURSOR_UP] - The cursor up key
[CURSOR_DOWN] - The cursor down key
[CURSOR_LEFT] - The cursor left key
[CURSOR_RIGHT] - The cursor right key
[ENTER] - The Enter or Carriage Return key
[ESC] - The Escape key usually located in the top left-hand corner of the keyboard
[CTRL + ENTER] - Means to hold down the Control key while pressing Enter
[CTRL + ESC] - Means to hold down the Control key while pressing Escape
[CTRL + BREAK] - Means to hold down the Control key while pressing the Break key, which may also be labeled the Pause key
[END] - The End key in the application section of the 101-key enhanced keyboard or the 1 in the numeric keypad when Num Lock is off
[HOME] - The Home key in the application section of the 101-key enhanced keyboard or the 7 in the numeric keypad when Num Lock is off
[INS] - The Insert key in the application section of the 101-key enhanced keyboard or the 0 in the numeric keypad when Num Lock is off
[DEL] - The Delete key in the application section of the 101-key enhanced keyboard or the "." in the numeric keypad when Num Lock is off
[PGDWN] - The Page Down key in the application section of the 101-key enhanced keyboard or the 3 in the numeric keypad when Num Lock is off
[PGUP] - The Page Up key in the application section of the 101-key enhanced keyboard or the 9 in the numeric keypad when Num Lock is off
[F1] through [F10] - The programmable function keys located along the top row of the 101-key enhanced keyboard
[ALT] - The Alt key usually used in combination with keyboard letter keys
[SPACEBAR] - Wide large key at bottom part of keyboard
