Children's Easter party at the Walterboro Elks Lodge 1988. Easter Bunny showed up for the children and had pictures taken. A great time had by all. And the last picture shows the end, off the evening!!!!
I would like to thank all of the Walterboro Elks Lodge 1988 members in their participation in the Vietnam Veterans Day event. We had a great turnout of Officers, members, volunteers and Paul Pye and all of the pack porch crew that got up early to cook. May God bless our Veterans.

$2000 Spotlight Grant delivered to In His Name Colleton today. They were so thankful and a reminder of how much our community needs us. Remember we have a box to collect food or cleaning supplies at the lodge. Monetary donations are welcome also. This is a good example of what your 5.00 donation to ENF makes possible. We came up a little short today at the Hoop Shoot. Both Sam and Jamiir finished 2nd in their age group. I want to thank everyone that was involved in the Hoop Shoot this year. We had a great showing from our Lodge. I’m going to need help with next year’s Hoop Shoot. So, if you have a Kids or Grand Kids from the ages of 8 – 13 Boy or Girl let me know so we can start working with them to get them ready. Again, I want to thank everyone for helping. Report on the Hoop Shoot today. The Walterboro Elks Lodge # 1988 had a great showing today. The first-place winners were: Boys 8-9 division: Jamiir Koger Boys 12-13 division” Sam Witkin The Second-place winners were: Girls 10-11 division: Ava McDonald Girls 12-13 division: Allyson Scott I want to Thank the parents and all the Lodge members who went to Charleston to support these Kids. Everyone showed great Sportsmanship. Jamiir and Sam will compete in the State Hoop Shoot in Orangeburg on the 3rd of March 2024 Again, Thanks Angus Patterson

Walterboro Elks Lodge has been well represented @ the 2024 SC Elks Association’s Winter Convention! Members in attendance included: ER Donna Avant Miller, First Dude-Terry Miller, Loyal Knight Beth Carpenter, Treasurer Mary Jo Fox, Rodney Stanley, PSP/PER Tim Anderson & his wife, Barbara, & PER Angus Patterson. The lodge donated $1500 to the Alzheimer’s State Project. We also had the opportunity to visit with PSP Kenny Martin & many other wonderful Elk family & friends.
