This year’s Kids Bingo was held Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Lodge and offered free school supplies for all the youngsters who attended. There were more than 130 school-age children who participated, each receiving a drug awareness backpack filled with most of the school supplies they will need for the upcoming year. Also awarded during the event were various special prizes, including gift cards, flash drives, ear buds and more (above). The remainder of the supplies was donated to the Animas Schools and local pre-schools Kids Bingo is funded through an Elks National Foundation Beacon Grant. The Beacon Grant is used for ongoing, successful lodge projects that address local issues and focus on those in need.
Kids Bingo offered valuable family bonding time.
