Standing on a wheel chair accessable dock, part of the Eagle Scouts projects Connor has done to tie into his brother Jacob's project, sidewalks. All tie together to add a wheelchair accessable fishing dock and pad tied to sidewalks that will connect 2 camp sites and the shelter building on lake 5 at Fort Kearney. Above were several of Elk's lodge 984 members presenting a check from our Gratitude Grant to help these young men finance their projects. Both young men are Life Scouts and these projects help them earn the Eagle Scout rank. Not to mention knowing how many people will get to enjoy their work in the future.
The Elk's are proud to be able to help young folks like this and hope we never run out of oppertunities to do so.
Thank you Connor and Jacob, the Kearney community is proud to have young men like you as part of it.
