ENF Freedom Grant Present Check to Virginia Myers Founder of Veterans Mall

ER Gloria Todd and Veterans Committee Chair Bob Behm presented a check for $1,000 from the ENF, Elks National Foundation Freedom Grant to Virginia Myers who founded the Veterans Mall

On July 19, 2022, ER Gloria Todd and Veterans Committee Chair Bob Behm presented a check

for $1,000 from the ENF Freedom Grant to Virginia Myers who founded the Veterans Mall

about 9 years ago. Virginia is now 94 and still shows up every Tuesday and Thursday to support

our veterans. Our Elks Lodge currently supports them every time we have a Veterans Clothing

Drive by bringing them suits, sports jackets, dress pants and ties.

The Veterans Mall is a storeroom of home-starter kits including kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom

essentials, i.e. coffeemakers, toasters, pots and pans, dishes, linens, blankets etc. Veterans can

also pick out shoes, suits, etc. to use for job interviews. The object is to get the homeless

veterans off the street and into an apartment and a job! I have submitted a picture of the ER and

myself presenting the check to Virginia and a few pictures of items in the Veterans Mall.
