Bill Fraley, of Lordsburg, was selected as 2013-2014 New Mexico Elks Association’s Elk of the Year at the organization’s annual Spring Convention held in Albuquerque last weekend. Fraley, a longtime member of the Lordsburg Elks Lodge, is currently serving as Trustee for the NMEA. Locally, he is chairman of the Board of Trustees and in the past has served as Exalted Ruler and District Deputy for the NMEA Southwest District. Fraley was recognized at the convention for his dedication, hard work and commitment to the Elks organization. Presenting Fraley, above left, with his award is 2013-2014 NMEA President Rohnnie Tupin.
