SWIMMING POOL RULES AND REGULATIONS (updated May 22, 2018)
The following rules and regulations are for the protection and benefit of the Lodge and its POOL MEMBERS. These rules have been established to assure that eligible members enjoy the swimming pool facilities and that the pool operated in a sanitary and safe manner. POOL MEMBERS are requested to caution their children to observe all rules and to obey instructions of the Pool Managers and authorized personnel. POOL MEMBERS shall be defined to include members and associate members who have paid their Elks Club dues and annual pool fees per the categories below.
For all categories below, there must be 1 member who is an active Elks member. See current year membership card for fees per category.
Family ($300) – Husband, spouse, any of your legal children 26 years old or younger, one active Elk member
Couple ($150) – Two people living together, one being an active Elk member,
Single ($75) – One person who is active Elk member,
65 Years or Older ($50) – One active Elk member 65 years old or older and his or her spouse
GUEST AND GUEST RULES
01. POOL MEMBERS will be permitted to bring guests at any time.
02. POOL MEMBERS must accompany guest at all times.
03. Guests will be charged $5.00 per person for all ages or $10.00 per family (up to 5 people). Cost subject to change by order of Pool Committee.
04. Guests include grandchildren, aunts, uncles, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, cousins and friends.
05. If a guest fee is paid and the pool is closed due to weather or safety issues, the guest will be refunded the full guest fee if used for one hour or less.
06. Elk members who have not paid pool dues may not be a guest of another pool member or be allowed to swim in the pool.
07. Elk members may be allowed on pool deck only, if not dressed in swim attire.
08. The conduct of the guest(s) is the direct responsibility of their sponsoring member. ?
SWIM TEAM - 2019
The Elks Swim Team is gearing up for another terrific year and are looking for swimmers to compete for the Niner. The team is seeking swimmers from 5-18 years of age. Our goals are to improve our swimming skills and have fun while representing Elks #9 in our swim league.
The swim season is seven weeks long starting the end of May. The season includes six dual meets and a conference championship on July 14th. Practices are late afternoon-early evening five days a week for approximately 50 minutes each. We are also planning morning stoke work as well. Swim meets are on Monday Nights (6:00 - 8:00 pm) and kids can swim in up to five events each evening.
Whether you swam for your high school team or can only swim the length of the pool, the Elks #9 Team wants you! As you start thinking about Summer Camps, make certain to remember to include the home club swim team in your children’s Summer plans.
Only paid pool members qualify for their children to join the swim team. See current year swim team sign-up sheet for current fees:

POOL RENTAL
Any Member or Associate Member may arrange for the rental of the Lodge’s pool facilities for a group by contacting the Pool Chairperson.
HOURS OF OPERATION (Subject to change)
01. The Swimming Pool will be open from the Saturday before Memorial Day through Labor Day.
02. Tuesday through Thursday 12 noon to 8:00 PM.
03. Friday 12 noon to 9:00 PM
04. Saturday 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM
05. Sunday 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
06. In mid-August weekday hours change, Tuesday through Friday 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
07. The pool may be closed for maintenance purposes, health conditions, weather, or any reason deemed sufficient by the Pool Manager. If possible, notification of such closing will be given to all members by posting on the pool bulletin board
08. The Swimming Pool Committee, with approval evidenced by lodge floor vote, may designate certain periods for special events provided.
WEATHER SAFETY
01. Pool will be cleared for 20 minutes every time thunder is heard.
02. Pool will be cleared for 30 minutes every time lightning is seen.
03. Pool will be cleared for any given time when it is raining hard enough that the guard cannot see the bottom of the pool.
