The Duarte Elks Lodge serves the communities of Duarte, Monrovia, Irwindale, Azusa, Covina, Glendora, San Dimas, Laverne and Pomona. The Lodge provides a place for men and women alike to socialize and volunteer for worthy local, regional, and national causes.
The Elks is a great way to belong to an organization that gives back to the community. Where Americanism is alive and well; where the American flag stands beside the Holy Bible; where the American family acts as a unit and not as individuals; where the elderly are respected and cared for; where our military men and women are noted for being the best Americans we have, and are not forgotten; and where charity is a way of life. For any of us to be truly thankful for the blessings in life, it is for us to give to those less fortunate. That is what this organization is all about.

Our schedule of dinners, dances, and varied activities brings a sense of camaraderie and fun to the mix. And membership is a passport of trust and friendship into the lodges located in more than 2,000 cities and towns throughout the country - your "homes away from home." Why not stop in for a Sunday breakfast or Monday Night fun and see what we're all about . . .
As a nationwide organization, Elks membership over 13 decades has consisted of tens of millions of America's finest citizens. As Elks, we love our country and desire to preserve its cherished institutions, traditions and values; we respect our neighbors and seek to promote their well-being; and we enjoy life and believe this enjoyment is increased by sharing it with family, friends and all we come in contact with. To Elks, laughter is better than tears, and a kind word more powerful than a frown. The dream of a better world becomes reality when shaped by enough willing hearts and hands. Public service is an integral part of being an Elk. In keeping with this tradition, our organization is dedicated to serving our community and many charities. We do charitable work for Veterans, disabled and disadvantaged children, Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops, and many others. Our national organization, to which the Duarte lodge contributes, is involved in a variety of programs, such as scholarships, Veterans services, and drug awareness education. The Elks California and Hawaii Association (CHEA) is dedicated to helping children who are disabled. Generosity without fanfare and often even without the recipient's knowledge. We have always been there, quietly providing help and encouragement. Inquire today about how you can become a part of this benevolent organization. There is no other feeling like knowing you belong to such a large and caring organization - Elks are welcomed anywhere in the country where there is an active Elks Lodge. Become a member of a nationwide family of good neighbors, and begin giving your life new purpose and fulfillment.
