A Message from the Exalted Ruler
My fellow Elks, Happy New Year, everyone. Now that the holiday season is behind us and the New Year has begun, we can turn our attention to spring. We have Sunday Football, Tuesday Dollar Night, and Wednesday Pizza Night each week. We also have some special occasions coming soon. While everyone knows we cannot attend each event, I can assure you that no matter what events you participate in, you will have a great time. As I am sure many know, none of these events would be possible without the hard work of many people. As is the case with any organization, the more participation we can get from our membership with these activities, the more successful the organization will become. This past week we initiated 8 new members, bringing this year's lodge total to 53. Enough can't be said about the importance of bringing in new members to our organization and how critical it is for our growth and success in the future.
It's been said "no organization can be successful without good leaders". The Troy Elks has the benefit of having great leaders. We have 9 Officers and 5 Trustees who are committed to our organization and work hard to provide a great envitonment for us to enjoy. The leadership of the Lodge doesn't end with those 14 people. In addition, we have a number of other members who work diligently to set parties, host events, and generally support the Lodge. To those members, I cannot thank you enough. It has made two years as Exalted Ruler much easier. For those who haven't yet found the time to become involved. I encourage you to do so. Not only can the organization always use more help, but the opportuntity to work with a great group of fun-loving people, should not be understated.
Finally, I want to remind everyone that we have a number of events coming in the next few months that you won't want to miss. We have an upcoming Super Bowl Party ( Feb 2nd), Valentines Dinner (Feb 14th), Western Party (Feb 15th), and even an indoor Corn Hole Tournament (March 22). There is something for everyone, and you don't want to miss out.

MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
Ballroom / Barroom Rentals Remember that the ballroom and the upstairs barroom are available to rent. They are great places to host a party or get-together. Rentals are $25 per hour with a minimum of 4 hour rental. We Need Your Email If we do not have your E-mail, call Secretary Lisa Agenbroad and get on our list. We will not send out junk, and your address stays only within Troy Elks 833 membership.
